15 Months and counting

Adeline turned 15 months this month. Here are her stats we got yesterday at the doctors:
Height: 32.3 inches
Weight:25.1 lbs ish (she wouldn't stop wiggling, but it never went below or above 25)

Adeline says a few words:
  • Mom (only when she is crying or talking to someone else)
  • Dad/Daddy (she says this constantly.. of course)
  • Ball (her favorite thing in the world, next to dogs!)
  • Wow
  • Who's that
  • Whats that
  • Boo
  • Baby (this is her latest)

Animal sounds:
  • Dog
  • Cat (she kind of says kitty)
  • Horse
  • Sheep
  • Monkey
  • Lion
  • Tiger
  • Bear
  • Chicken
  • Duck (if you ask her it says duck duck duck)
  • Elephant
  • Snake
  • fish face
  • Cow
  • Pig (we are still working on this one, but it makes a noise when you ask)

I'm not sure if animal sounds count as words, but as you see she has a large vocabulary of them. She has started giving giant hugs, that squish you and good kisses. She also thinks it is hilarious to lick you all over your face. She feeds herself with her fork and spoon.
She understands what you are asking her to do. Our latest success is to throw things away in the garbage and leave them there! She is getting to smart for her own good!

*sorry about the bragging post, but thought I could share all of her accomplishments.

Easter

For Easter we spent a long weekend at my parents house. Adeline loved being able to play out side and being with the animals. She came home with an evolved barking sound, and horse sound. Every morning she would ask to go outside to pet the dogs, then wanted her coat to spend the day outside. It was kind of windy, but she still got to go for a little horse ride and run free.. Here are some of our pictures from Easter.

Adeline did great at coloring them. She only used two colors and they each got dyed multiple times. She also kept seeing how many she could shove in a mug at a time. Most of them ended up cracked, but they still roll that way :).

Coloring eggs while watching the Duke game!
Most of these are Adeline's eggs. She didn't quite understand there were other colors to choose from.
I was a little nervous about her finding her eggs and she caught on quickly. She did a great job at helping everyone find their eggs.
Adeline was a pro at rolling her eggs down the hill. I think she had 2 dozen eggs down to the bottom in about 5 minutes. She just kept rolling and rolling. She also thought the hill made a great slide. Aaron grabbed her by her ankles and drug her down. She thought it was great. She enjoyed the wide open space. She followed the dogs every where, while barking behind them.
The whole family came, including Doc and Nitro we had a great time, on the desert and being together.

Rachelle & Grandma Came!

Rachelle and Grandma came to Idaho! Adeline got special babysitters for an entire weekend. She ate it up. The week of spring break my mom and Rachelle came to take care of Adeline for us while we went to work. They enjoyed watching cartoons, going shopping, playing new games, and Adeline enjoyed just having someone else to hang out with!
